Formula BMW Pacific continues on Sunday, with guest drivers from Team Eurointernational continues to dominate the race weekend. Danill Kyvat got his second victory as he romped away from pole position all the way to chequered flag in Race 3. This time he was pushed right from the start by his teammate Michael Lewis, but ultimately Kyvat defended his position well and denied Lewis any room to overtake. They crossed the line very close, only 0.439 second separating them.

Russian Daniil Kyvat of Team Eurointernational scored his first win in single-seater racing when he was victorious in Race 1 of Formula BMW Pacific at the Sepang International Circuit. Starting from pole, he was quick off the block heading into the first corner, but was challenged for the whole race by Team Eurasia’s Kotar0 Sakurai from the Philippines. Kyvat’s teammate Michael Lewis finished second while rookie James Birch of Motaworld Racing trailed behind in third in the scorching heat of Sepang.

Mok Weng Sun completed the double after winning the Grand Race ahead of the defending GT3 Asia Champion Tunku Hammam Sulong in the GT3 Class. Mok’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is just too good for the rest of the Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Ginettas.

It has been few hours now after our recent Sepang visit for AFOS 2010. Exhausted is the right word after three days non-stop action packed races. While we are getting our stories ready for your consumption, enjoy this eye candy of Daniel Kvyat from Team Eurointernational. Daniil Kvyat dominated the Formula BMW races with some splendid drive. It’s a joy watching him drive the Sepang track beyond limits!!

Dark clouds were seen above the Sepang International Circuit before the start of the GT3 Asia Race 1, and threats of rain were looming. Luckily, the dark clouds moved away from the circuit and it was a dry race until the end.
