Super GT Round 2 – FUJI GT 400km RACE : MOTUL AUTECH GT-R Secures Victory in Challenging Conditions

Benoit Treluyer delivered a masterclass display of control in the torrential rain and strong winds to take 1st place before the first pitstop window despite starting the race from 6th on the grid. While many of the the front runners faltered in the bad condition, Treluyer kept his car on the island before handing the car to Satoshi Motoyama when he was leading the race. The race had to be stopped 6 laps earlier after officials deemed the condition to be too dangerous to continue, thus handing the victory to Motoyama as he was the leader at that stage of the race.
